<center></center> <center></center> # Rebuttal on Kimmel’s Viral Las Vegas Rant #### Let me start by saying what happened in Las Vegas was horrible, that was an evil person. There is a lot we do not know about this atrocity, and jumping on the political second amendment issue within hours of if happening should tell you more than you need to know, those people are pushing a political agenda. My first question is this, why does the whole gun issue not get a whisper when is happens anywhere else in the world, like the shooting in Paris? #### Some perspective for you, USA is first of the list when it comes to gun violence, guess who is second on that list, South Africa. So let's do a little compassion between the two countries. America has the second amendment which states it is a human right to bear arms to defend yourself, so almost everyone has a gun, compared to South Africa not so much, guns are almost pretty much banned here, there is a law on how many you may own and you must pay annual licence fee in order to have one, I don't even know where I could by a gun. Ownership of guns in the US is about 88.8 per 100k population, compared to SA which is 12.7 per 100k population, so how about deaths caused by guns, in US 10.3 per 100k (33k) and South Africa it's 9.7 per 100k (5K). The fact that guns are easy to buy does not cause mass shootings, some really evil person make a decision to kill other people, there is no way to stop that from happening unfortunately. What annoys me most about him giving his 2 cents about this, is that most of what he's saying is factually incorrect and political taking points from the left.
