<center></center> <center></center> # The Democrat's Orwellian Dream If you want the world of George Orwell's 1984, this is how you get an Orwellian surveillance state where no one has any freedom. I was going to right a review about a the awesome new season of The Boys, but then this popped up on my news feed, and it's more important than you think. The knowledge that the American government has pretty good surveillance capabilities over the population, has long since been the ramblings of conspiracy theorists. Thanks to people like Snowden and Wikileaks we know this to be fact, but they can't actually use the information in a legal way against anyone, because of things like the constitution and laws which protect the civil liberties of citizens. Which bring us to old Adam Schiff, who looks like onw of the aliens from MArs Attacks, who released his impeachment report this week, which included phone records of journalists and lawmakers the democrats don’t like. The question is, how did he obtain these records and what exact crime did the people commit? And that's just the problem, there was no crime these people have committed other than speaking to Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani. How ironically the tables have turned and those who made the accusations end up becoming exactly that which they fear mongered for all this time. What Adam Schiff did, was use the federal power of the US government to force a phone company to hand over records of a journalist, who has not done anything wrong or been suspected of any crime, then published that information to insinuate there was wrong doing. This is what fascism and authoritarianism looks like, because they want Trump impeached so bad and no matter the cost. It's like I wrote the other day, freedoms of the people get chipped away little by little, and the activists, democrats and people who hate the president are fine with this corrupt use of power, because it is giving them what they want. But these kinds of actions end up setting precedence and then a year from now it's common practice, and so those in power are given more power.
