**What is car dashboard**
A car dashboard is one part of the car interior that is usually placed at the front of any car where all the indicators are shows.

This was done by me, am I will share with you some steps I took to make this comes out this way. At the end of this tutorial you should be able to have and ideas on how it is being done and if you wish to give a try you can also do it.

Looking at the picture above the dashboard has expired and some part has pull-up due to is life span or to much sun.

***Let look at some simple steps to follow in making the dashboard come out new again***

**Step 1**
Firstly you need to loose the dashboard from the car to the workshop, it is not easy to loose it, is better to pay a professional to remove it, an electrician or and ac man.
Loose out the ac and the speaker covers

**Step 2**
After loosing it to The shop you then pull out the old leather on the dashboard carefully

I just finished removing the old leather on the board

After removing all the old leather, I then use a sand paper to sand the body of the board.

This is done to make the surface rough so that when applying gum it can gum it well

After sanding the entire board I then use broom to sweep out the sand material

Here is the final look after sanding the board

**Step 3**
Here is the new leather I am going to use to cover the board

I use a measurement tape to measure out the vertical length and the horizontal length of the dashboard.

After I measure the length I then mark it out on my new leather.

After marking it, I then cut it out with the help of my scissors

**Step 4**
Here in this step we are applying gum to both the leather and the board.

***Here is the gum I am using***

I make use of 1 inches brush to apply the gum both on the new leather and the board.

After applying the gum I then gum them together smoothly

After gumming them together I then blame the edges well, where it need to cut out I do so.
