Finding Unique Photos, Texts and More in Public Domain
#### It often takes lots of Internet sleuthing to find those great nuggets of material you might want for your personal use. Once found you then have to decipher the small print searching for the copyright policy to determine if its legal to use. ####

>The truth is something created a long ago is not automatically in the public domain, especially the online digital versions. Many pubic works are published online under a restrictive license known as CC BY-NC, which means there can be no commercial use of the material.

#### “Tis better to be safe than sorry!” Beware of the various licensing tools when searching for materials in the public domain will save you time and trouble. ####

#### So...I decided to list some great Public Domain sites where people can locate and freely use books, art, music, and photographs for their purposes. ####
