We humans are all unique, but we are all from one planet --one tribe. It was a special experience for us and our customers knowing all our Spud on Stick profits for the day at Earth Jam where going towards a new future for two brothers fighting for their lives in Venezuela. Just like internet money is making things like this monumental exchange of value possible, I also hope we continue to build technologies that free us all from a world full of misguided authorities who violently force permissions about what we call money; where we call home; who we love; how we communicate; and how we should live. </p> <p>Something special and unique happens when a small family business can provide a product/service and the focus of profit is taken out of the equation. Inga and I were so touched by the epiphany we shared by making all our potatoes available for donation only, instead of for a price we forced on everyone else. Thinking back on the generosity of our community brings me to tears. The first ever transnational, borderless money we all call Bitcoin has made this possible. </p> <p><img src="https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/19702016_10213242408352931_1272354661967748681_n.jpg?oh=0e0e11f52b34d63574d809832b3be376&oe=5A108AF6" width="720" height="960"/></p> <p>As five of us (whole family) floated around the Statue of Liberty today I felt the spirit of our ancestors who risked everything for the chance of a better future that was made possible by going beyond the reach of tyranny. I’m proud to be an American and I am even more proud to be a pioneering human who has found a path to empower future generations. I see so much hope and joy in the faces of our children. So often we hear reasons that supposedly make it okay to commit harm towards another human, well I challenge every person on the planet to stop the violence. Imagine a world where we seek ways to empower others and enrich the lives of people we may never meet or understand. Let’s give our children the future we all deserve, which for me I see that future involving a unit of value that is controlled by no single authority and is open-free-transparent. </p> <p>https://btc-bitcore1.trezor.io/tx/afb2b0e04ef331c0c2bfd42c82e50650936169ffef8480d145184377d86aa835 </p> <p>Already eight confirmations in the time it took me to type this message, which means there is not enough money/electricity/computational power on the planet to change the ledger (Bitcoin Blockchain) that will enforce the truth of this exchange of value for all time.
