The tech in more details
>Both the kickstand and the key fob contain certified Bluetooth modules that allow the two devices to communicate within a range of up to 300 ft.  Bluetooth 4.2 technology has very low power consumption, which means an extremely long battery life. Each device uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery that lasts up to an entire year and can be easily replaced for less than a dollar. A piezoelectric speaker housed inside the devices produces a unique ringtone at 90 decibels!<
