**Introduction**

I have been an internet marketer for about two years now and it has been great so far, so promoting businesses and platforms is an area of specialization for me. In this contribution, i decided to promote utopian.io using Facebook. i chose to promote utopian.io because it is a great platform that rewards its users handsomely for originality and good contributions. Also, i decided to promote utopian.io because it simply would be "killing two birds with one stone", in the sense that i will as well be promoting steemit as i have discovered that every utopian.io user must have been registered on steemit.com.

I chose to use Facebook due to its wide coverage and access to people of many interests and walks of life. i sincerely believe in the potential of this platform to reach unimaginable heights and i want to play an active part in its growth while benefiting from the platform.

**Audience**

In this promotional exercise, i picked my audience from Nigeria.
Nigerians have always had interest in cryptocurrency and online sources of income.  So, in this promotion, i selected six states in which i know there will be peak interest in the ad created as shown below

In further promotional activities, i intend to pass the boarders of Nigeria and promote in other African countries.
I selected people with interests in: money, cryptocurrency, business and social network, from ages 18-65+ years.
The targetted audience were very responsive to the promotional ad.


**Activity**

I began the promotion by creating a Facebook page which i named "Utopian.io Africa Promotion Page"

I then proceeded to creating an ad on this page. I had created better ads prior to this one but they were not approved because i made mention of cryptocurrency which i feel, caused the dissapproval due to the fact that cryptocurrency scams have been rampant on Facebook.

Some amount of money was spent in the promotion of the ad but has proved worthwhile.

**Results**

This utopian facebook promotion has no doubt been successful

This promotion was carried out by me Dubem Ofulue, and i intend to carryout more promotion of the platforms.
