The spaceship looking, donut shaped, building is set to house over 13,000 people when finished and will be one of the most eco-friendly buildings on the planet. The electricity for the site is generated by 700,000 square feet of solar panels. Specially designed windows will allow the building to ‘breathe’. This will increase airflow and reduce temperature control costs.</p> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Qh_9_1FX0Yk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <p><br></p> <p>The project is audacious, covering 2.8 million square feet. Located in Cupertino California, the heart of Silicon Valley. It incorporates over 7 thousand trees on the “Apple Campus 2” which sports landscaping on 80 percent of the site. The main office building is 260,000 square meters of space and will have an auditorium that can fit 1000 people.</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/6b62379a43.png" width="600" height="461"/></p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/6b6266e5d3.png" width="600" height="461"/></p> <p>The new $5 billion building may be completed by the end of the year (2016)!
