I have been playing SteemMonsters the last few days even though I brought my starter pack a while ago.  It seems like a very solid game, especially for one that was only just released and uses an untested network for gaming. It shows so much potential and hopefully leads many different developers to take part in the Steem blockchain. We need to see more games developed using this technology and one of the things that would benefit them is creating a desktop app for the game which will allow them to create much more sophisticated systems. 

This could also lead them to being listed on Steam the game distribution platform. That would open it up to many more mainstream gamers and add more to the Steem community. 

But this game takes a little learning, although not too complicated it takes a while working out which formula is the best and because of lack of interaction it does depend on your cards and the opponents. So it has an element of luck, which I guess all games do.  But if you use Steem, I suggest at least purchasing a starter pack because it will all contribute to the community and the value of Steem which at the moment is vastly underappreciated.
