Classic FOMO Fear Of Missing Out. So when I get asked these questions I usually answer them with a question.</p> <ul> <li><strong>How long do you plan to hold your Bitcoin? One week? One month? Six months? FIVE years?????</strong></li> </ul> <p>We live in a society where we want everything INSTANT. Patience is almost a thing of the past. I have seen countless videos of people going bizerk on McDonald's workers for not serving fries fast enough. In Crypto Land Patience is highly valuable. It's the difference between getting 2x on a coin or 1000x. So if someone tells me that he is only going to hold it short term I tell them they need to research and find a project they can support. </p> <p>If they say they don't really care to cash it out and are in it for the long-term, I tell them they should buy a certain amount every week/month/3months. What ever is more comfortable for you. People who want to invest strictly in Bitcoin should treat it like a 401k. You will be surprised at the amount you end up with when you choose to cash out.</p> <h2>Another famous question is "How much should I invest?" That is something I can never answer for anyone. Everyone has different situations and money is not valued the same everywhere. </h2> <p><br></p> <ul> <li><strong>So I ask them if you lost $20 in the street right now how much would it hurt? If you say it wouldn't hurt at all than add $10 bucks. Would $30 hurt? Would $50?</strong></li> </ul> <p>See everyone has a different amount. Whatever your amount is, that is the amount you should invest. Crypto is early enough that if you pick a good enough project with real development behind it things will go very good for you. In the financial world then entire Crypto market cap is still a small nothing burger. But mark my words this will not be the case in a couple years. This space will continue to grow more and more with each new idea launched on the revolutionary technology that is BlockChain!!!!!</p> <p>I am not the golden child investor and this is not investment advice but investment safeguards. Too many people are falling victims because they are trying too hard to hit a grand slam when hitting a single everytime is possible. It's possible if you are strict and follow whatever guidelines you set for yourself.</p> <p>I have chosen to support Steem. In my opinion it is a sleeping giant that will one day really change the internet landscape. With the introduction of SMT's the cryptospace will now have other options to launch the next great idea.
