The Angel jump is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Venezuela, this jump was known by the indigenous people of the region. Its original name is temporally kerepakupai vein, in the Pemon language of Indian origin, its name means '' Jump from the deepest place ''.

This waterfall has approximately a height of 979m (807m of uninterrupted fall), generated from the Auyantepuy. Is located in the park canaima, in the state of bolivar in venezuela.

There are two ways to see the Angel Falls. One of them is from the air, by plane and the other is on a trip that starts from the port of Ucaima in Canaima, and lasts for 3 hours sailing along the Carrao River and then through the churun.

From the churin river, to the Mirador del Salto Angel, you should walk about an hour through the jungle.

The most suitable time to contemplate the water fall is from June to December, because of its high altitude there is difficulty to observe it in full on cloudy days.
