The kiddo has outgrown his little table and chairs that his mama got him when he was a wee toddler. He used to call that his office.

His mama has just bought a study table and chair from Ikea for the kiddo and the old set would probably be put up for sale in May when the community management officials allow a time-limited garage sale.

The kiddo is left handed and looking at him doing his homework on the new table brings back memories of my misery when I was his age. I am left handed too but my dad would have none of that. He whacked my hand with a ruler whenever he saw me using my left hand for writing or eating. He was a stern man and I quickly learned to use my right hand instead.

I was never comfortable using my right hand and after I left home, I resumed using my dominant hand. Unfortunately, as too much time has passed, I am no longer able to write with my left hand. I wonder if I can be considered ambidextrous?
