First time to-be moms and dads are ever anxious to ready the nursery or bedroom in time for their newborn to come home to.  



Months before baby is due,  so many plans are being made in regard to the furniture and decoration of the bedroom.  There's also the colour theme to be considered.

It would help if the sex of the baby is known; pink for girls and powder blue to little boys.  But of course some parents are against their obgyn revealing the sex of their unborn baby.



It is pretty expensive to start a family.  Baby clothes, toys, bottles,  the numerous paraphernalia like stroller, car seat, carrier, bouncer, rocker, swayer, baby monitor.  The list goes on and the tons of disposal diapers.  I recalled the kiddo's father grumbling that buying diapers was bankrupting him.

It is heaven sent if someone organises a baby shower and if lucky,  friends and relatives would gift some of those much needed baby stuff to relieve the burden of so many new purchases.
