0.000 HBDPositive Takeaways From The Justin Sun AMA... Despite Its Vagueness.
So basically the AMA just went more or less as expected. Out of the massive number of questions we got little in regards to in depth answers... though there were a few assurances. One of the big concerns that was addressed was token swap. Once @ned was done performing his hand job and history lesson we were assured that things like SMT’s and the general set up on the Steem chain will stay as is for now. The token swap issue though mentioned briefly did not turn out to be voiced as the hostile move we were all concerned about. Outside of my initial anxiety here I am left feeling that we will have to watch and see where this goes. Basically just carry on creating content and doing what we do day to day in our interaction with Steem. I can definitely see anxiety ahead for the witnesses and those higher on the food chain later though. But I can’t help but feel we do have some resilient stubborn folks in that regard, so I don’t think any big moves will be the community just going with the flow and allowing a steam roll. For now at least we know SMT’s will go forward and for the moment things will stay as is. https://media2.giphy.com/media/xUNd9GUL3corxkMYI8/giphy.gif Hopefully we see a better push in the marketing department out of this. Steem has been in desperate need in that regard. So we can only hope Justin Sun brings a new energy to that. Anything is better than @neds almost high schoolish adolescent laziness with this project. One of the many take away's I have from all of this is that there will be plenty of news to sell in the future. Justin Sun is great at hype so there is a sporting chance that later down the line we will see some good old fashioned buy the rumor sell the news behavior in the market. I don’t see this as bad. Remember in 2017 when the tiniest headline for this or that crypto would send something skyrocketing or tumbling? I don’t mind the volatility. It provides opportunity if managed correctly. So after today’s live stream I’ll be picking up more Steem, whacking it into my alt accounts, keeping it ready to offload when we get hype, and ready to buy it back when it dies down. What was awesome today was to see everyone from day to day minnows like myself, and witnesses in the live chat comments. The Steem community definitely showed up and was incredibly vocal. It certainly left me feeling positive about what makes this block chain so damn valuable. I also had a few good laughs at some of the more colorful commentary. Yesterday the announcement had the same effect on me that it did on many who are invested on this block chain. Basically head spun and wtf. Despite not hearing the amount of details I would have liked, I’m a bit more relaxed. There will be chances to make a little money in the future playing the swings, I’ll get to continue making poor quality content and trying to improve as a content creator, I got to see the community come together. In closing, I’m feeling far more positive about it all today than I was. Well guys thanks for reading. Just a quick blurb really. As always I’m looking forward to your future posts and projects. Keep on Steeming. https://media2.giphy.com/media/oobNzX5ICcRZC/giphy.gif image credits: midnight masons giphy
