Eyeshadow Quads are small eyeshadow palettes of four different shades: a light color, two medium colors (one that is slightly darker than the other) and a dark color which can be matte or shimmer. I’m sure that everyone owns at least one Eyeshadow Quad at home but hasn’t touched it in a long time.

Tools that you will need:

- An Eyeshadow Quad in the color and brand that you love!
- One Blending Brush
- One Crease Brush
- One Dense Eyeshadow Brush
- Mascara

Once you get a hold of the basic technique on how to use an eyeshadow quad, it would make your life much easier. Now, let’s get started!

Step 1: Lightest Shadow

-You can use a Blending Brush or your fingers for application.

Start applying the lightest shadow all over the eyelid area, starting from the lash line and extending to the brows. 

Step 2: Medium shadow – Dark 

- A crease brush is suggested for application.

Now, it’s time for the crease. Apply the medium shadow gently through the crease to add some depth and create a guideline for further shadows. 

Step 3: Dark Shadow

- Use a dense eyeshadow brush for best results.

Add the darker shadow to the outer corners to create depth and blend it into the crease shadow.

Step 4: Medium Shadow – Light

- Apply using your fingers. 

Add the lighter medium shadow on the main lid area and blend it into the crease and outer corner shadow.

Step 5: Add Mascara

Finish off the look with a few coats of mascara. This will help your eyes pop out more!
