Crab Spiders are so named because of their hunting posture, in which they hold the two forward pairs of legs up and to the sides. They are ambush predators who wait for prey to come to them, their favorite places to wait are flowers, hidden within or below the petals, they wait for a bee or fly to come drink the flowers nectar.  When the victim gets close enough, they grab it with their two forward pairs of legs and inject a fast acting venom. Spiders are fast but not particularly robust; biting and waiting is a must safer strategy.

カニグモはカニのようなポーズで狩りするから。前半の足は上と横で伸ばして獲物を待ってます。よく花の花びらで体を隠して、獲物が近く来たら、足で捕まえて独を注入、動きが止まってから頂く！クモは速いですが丈夫ではないからこの狩り方法は安全ですね。
