Spring is blooming or soon to be arriving in the Northern hemisphere, and flowers seem to grab all of the attention. I'd like to share a few photos of what was left over from the fall, still stubbornly refusing to give in and decompose. A seed pod of some kind of small bamboo-like plant.  It strongly reminded me of the eggs from alien! A great movie which still holds up after 41 years! A naturally occurring trio of dried out empty seed pods or maybe fruit.  I was drawn to the way the branches framed the small fruit things. The dried dead stalk of a weed, it grows to about 1m or 1.5 tall, quite quickly.  The textures of the stalk and twisted leaves seem to tell a story of multiple branching paths. Pondering the past experiences of a weed; what an interesting art photography is. --- I hope the photos brightened your day!
