It's just one month left for me to face the rainy season. So far the summer is treating me good. And in few days there is going to be rain and it may affect the power distribution. I always keep myself prepared for these days because you never know what may be in store for you. 

So I was thinking of taking care of this emergency light scenario.

Here are some of the options in mind. 

1. **Solar Panel Light** : You can use the solar light in the garden or the porch in the house. I don't expect solar lights to light the house long enough in most places. I'd recommend checking out the [solar light supply](https://amzn.to/2DODYuS) solution. 
2. **LuminAid**: So this luminaid seems to be a good emergency light solution. At home when you want to light small room, then this can be a good handy utility of light. Check out the [LuminAid lights](https://amzn.to/2VIxgRb). 
3. **Torch:** If nothing works then torch is what I may have to try out in case of the emergency. There are different type of LED torches and the lanterns in the market. You may want to check out the [LED torch](https://amzn.to/2Y9gOqD), even better if it is rechargeable. 
4. **Candles**: If you run out of everything, then candles are what you may want to use in case of the emergency light. In most of the storms and the damaged power grid times it can be a good option. 

These are some of the options you can think of when it comes to emergency light. You may find few other options like say inverter backup and few other solutions but they may end up costing you more. So I'd recommend checking out above solutions if you want to only focus on power supply for few hours in rainy days.
