I have always like the idea of setting up and running my own masternode.  Unfortunately I missed the the DASH and PIVX train.  However with luck I came across  Chaincoin.  After doing some research on the coin I immediately hop onto the on place I could buy it, Cryptopia and setup an account.  What I like about the coin is there is no pre-mine, it was launch fairly and mined over the years since its release by  dedicated people.  I am grateful they did and that the coin survived..  Most importantly its capped at 23 million coins.  

The masternode setup was a great learning experience.  After following the guide and finally completing the setup process I felt a great sense of achievement.  Sure it may be no big deal for a lot of people but as stated earlier I always like the idea of setting up a masternode and at the price of Chaincoin at the time I could not let it pass me by.  

There is something to be said about a coin that lasted this long way under the radar.  Testament to the strength of a chain maybe :)?   Now with a clearly defined roadmap and focussed team I think this coin has a bright future.  See www.chaincoin.org if you are interested in cheap masternode, even if its just for fun.
