<p>This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.</p>
<p>Photographing animals is always a challenge, especially when you consider that they are often constantly moving. Personally, I would think that taking pictures of a turtle (or morrocoy, as it is known here in Venezuela) would be easy because they are so slow, but I was completely wrong.</p>

<p>These small animals are quite fast, especially when they are in a place surrounded by so many leaves and plants to eat. They move from one place to another and only stay still to eat, but when they finish, they look for more and move very quickly. It was quite a challenge for me to take these photographs.</p>

<p>Estos pequeños animales son bastante rápidos y más si se encuentran en un lugar rodeado de tantas hojas y plantas para comer, se mueven de un lugar a otro y solo se quedan quietos para comer, pero al terminar buscan más y se mueven muy rápido, fue todo un reto para mí lograr hacerle estas fotografías.        </p>

<p>I should mention that I took many photographs, but in many of them the turtle is out of focus, because, as I have been mentioning so much, it does not stay very still nor is it as slow as one might think. Even so, I managed to take some photographs that I consider totally worth sharing with the community.</p>

<p>Debo mencionar que hice muchas fotografías, pero en muchas sale la tortuga desenfocada, porque como he estado mencionando tanto, no se queda muy quieta ni es tan lenta como alguien pensaría, pero aun así logré hacer unas fotografías que considero valen totalmente la pena el compartir en la comunidad.        </p>
