My thoughts on the last week of buying and exchanging some altcoin currency... My Dogecoin wallet finally synced!
So I finally got my Dogecoin wallet to sync after doing the CPU priority trick I posted about earlier... I was getting freaked out because the 2300 dogecoin I bought with my Steem wasn't showing up yet. But it finally did and everything was good!

So I have fully synced the following wallet cores:
Feathercoin
Bitcoin
Litecoin
Dogecoin
Mooncoin
Potcoin
Ethereum

I find it hard to keep Ethereum synced if you don't keep it running constantly...

Bitcoin is a pain in the but to manage since the chain has gotten so large. But once you have it synced and setup it is good. I happened to find out I had a bad HDD that I was running the chain off of which is where most of my frustration was with bitcoin. Everything is a ok now!

Potcoin, Dogecoin and Mooncoin synced up like a charm! Dogecoin took the longest, Mooncoin was by far the fastest...

I have purchased Litecoin, Dogecoin and Mooncoin

I bought 5000 Moon coin with 0.0123 Litecoin that I bought with $5 SBD(Steem Dollars) after Steem jumped 700%. I used coinexchange.io to trade some of the Litecoin for Mooncoin! Was super smooth!

In total I ended up with .42 Litecoin and 5000 Mooncoin for $15 SBD total!

And I bought ~2400 Dogecoin directly with another $5 SBD.

So I spent $20 SBD Total and I got a pretty good start in some of the alt coins imo...

As of right now, I am really liking Mooncoin, Dogecoin, and Litecoin.

I am still waiting to get some Feathercoin, Potcoin and Bitcoin so I can't comment too much on them, Bitcoin transaction fees suck, so that keeps me away from buying any. Which is preventing me from buying any Feathercoin as most exchanges only exchange FTC for BTC. And I won't do that... Unless I was gonna buy like a lot! Which I'm not ready to do yet.

I am also trying to sync a Dimecoin wallet, Primecoin wallet, and a Bytecoin wallet but they aren't even close to completed yet. But they are next up on my list.

But the cryptos I mentioned here in this post I think are all going to be winners in the long term...
And they are super fun and cheap and easy to play around with trading back and forth on the margins! :)

Also note that I used my good computer to sync all these chains, and then I transferred them to an older but still decent laptop I have but never use. I have 6 wallets running on this low power and efficient machine perfectly! They wouldn't sync from this machine, but keeping a synced chain up to date doesn't seem to be any problem whatsoever!
