The Bad News: 10 days of Bitcoin blocks is currently ~1% of the entire chain! I think bitcoin should award coins to nodes... Just for storing/sending the chain!
The Good News: That size for 10 days is technically at a peak for now and should only drop from ~1% to smaller amounts over time as the chain grows unless they either make block sizes larger or make time between blocks smaller.

THE CHAIN IS GETTING HUGE!!!

Which is one of the things that is making other altcoins attractive right now. Their chains are nowhere near as large as bitcoin has gotten!

I was syncing my bitcoin wallet tonight and it was at January 1st at 11:49am at 98.93%
Just crazy how fast the chain is growing now...

I strongly feel like bitcoin should award bitcoin soley for running a node and not even mining, on some type of lottery system.... It's a lot of data to store and retrieve/send as a node... WOW!!!

And the majority of new adopters and even old are using online wallets and not running nodes anymore...
