**Hugs and blessings! Here I am again, bringing music to this wonderful sharing of art and beauty with you. Thousands of gratitudes in this eternal present that unites us to sign high vibration.**

*This afternoon I decided to record, in a very spontaneous way, a little song of El último en la fila; which was a Spanish rock group quite popular in the nineties. This is a very funny but at the same time touching song, for me it is a classic; it is also a bit simple (with only four chords) but it really brings back very nice memories.*

*It has a rock ballad style, a very lively rhythm and a lyric that could be considered a rebound song. Its first verse goes like this:*

>> **"You tell me "good bye" in your note, so richly.
And I can't get used to the idea that I'll never see you again
If I knew, mimosa, I wouldn't take you under the bridge
I jumped in head first and was swept away by the current".**

*This part is talking about a breakup, a love abandonment. There is also a helplessness and a denial to the fact of not seeing again the person who has gone away leaving a note. It is also present the confidence that the person had in the relationship and how the reality took it away like "the current".*

>>**"This is my destiny
At the end of the street I am
I feel like that thief who seeks his fortune
In an alley
Where no one ever passes by
Like a donkey tied up at the door of the dance".**

*This stanza poses a context in which pain, abandonment, begging and the feeling of poverty are protagonists thanks to the suffering of a love loss; making the subject look like a street animal and adrift in search of lost affection.* 

>>**"My cousin, who owns a bar, has always said to me.
And I know that he says it all in very good faith
So much you have, so much you're worth; it can't be helped
If you are one of those who don't have, to the galleys to row
And if I have only love
What am I worth?
If I feel like dancing

*In this next part of the lyrics, we continue talking about a context in which the subject seeks advice from a relative in a bar, showing that spite led him to take refuge in alcohol. Here, the subject's cousin comes up with the idea of **"so much you have, so much you are worth; it can't be helped"** and it is here where the story of the song seems to refer to the fact that the subject was abandoned because of his lack of material possessions. In the middle of all this, the question arises: **"And if I only have love, what am I worth?"**, this would be the main question of the song; **am I worth nothing if I only have love?** This is one of the things I like most about this song, I feel it conveys the helplessness that people can have when we are calculated instead of loved. Often people believe that in money lies happiness and inner tranquility. We have been programmed to believe that having has real meaning, when in reality virtue goes beyond material and superficial foundations.*

***After this, the song repeats the last verse a couple of times, and includes words that are too colloquial to understand its true reference; but for me it is one of my favorite songs, with a very nice theme and a great style!***

**Abrazos y bendiciones! Aquí estoy de nuevo, trayendo música a este maravilloso compartir de arte y belleza con ustedes. Miles de gratitudes en este eterno presente que nos une para firmar vibración elevada.**

*Esta tarde decidí grabar, de forma muy espontánea, una pequeña canción de El último en la fila; el cual fue un grupo de rock en español bastante popular en los años noventa. Esta es una canción muy divertida pero a la vez conmovedora, para mi es todo un clásico; es también un tanto sencilla (con solo cuatro acordes) pero de verdad a mi me trae muy bonitos recuerdos.*

*Tiene un estilo de balada rock, un ritmo muy movido y una letra que podría considerarse de despecho. Su primera estrofa dice así:*

>> **"Me dices "good bye" en tu nota, tan ricamente
Y no me hago a la idea de no volver a verte
Si lo llego a saber, mimosa, no te bajo el puente
Me tiré de cabeza y me arrastró la corriente"**

*En esta parte se esta hablando de una ruptura, de un abandono amoroso. También se plantea una impotencia y una negación al echo de no volver a ver a esa persona que se ha ido dejándole una nota. Esta presente también la confianza que la persona tenía en la relación y como la realidad se lo llevó como "la corriente".*

>> **"Este es mi destino
Al cabo de la calle estoy
Me siento como aquel ladrón que busca su fortuna
En un callejón
Por donde nunca pasa nadie
Como un burro amarrado en la puerta del baile"**

*Esta estrofa se plantea un contexto en el cual el dolor, el abandono, la mendicidad y el sentimiento de pobreza son protagonistas gracias al sufrimiento de una pérdida amorosa; haciendo ver al sujeto como un animal de la calle y a la deriva en busca de afecto perdido.*

>> **"Mi primo, que tiene un bar, desde siempre me ha dicho
Y me consta que todo lo dice de muy buena fe
Tanto tienes, tanto vales; no se puede remediar
Si eres de los que no tienen, a galeras a remar
Y si solo tengo amor
¿Qué es lo que valgo yo?
Si tengo ganas de bailar
¿Para qué voy a esperar?
Ahora necesito amor

*En esta siguiente parte de la letra, se prosigue hablando de un contexto en el cual el sujeto busca consejo de un familiar en un bar, haciendo ver que el despecho lo llevo a refugiarse en el alcohol. Aquí, el primo del sujeto se plantea la idea de **"tanto tienes, tanto vales; no se puede remediar"** y es aquí donde la historia de la canción pareciera referirse a que abandonaron al sujeto por su falta de posesión material. En medio de todo esto surge la pregunta: **"¿Y si sólo tengo amor que es lo que valgo yo?"**, este sería el cuestionamiento principal de la canción; **¿no valgo nada si solo tengo amor?**. Esta es una de las cosas que mas me gusta de esta canción, siento que transmite la impotencia que podemos tener las personas cuando somos calculados en vez de amados. A menudo las personas creemos que en el dinero yace la felicidad y la tranquilidad interna. Nos han programado a creer que el tener tiene un significado real, cuando en realidad la virtud va más allá de fundamentos materiales y superficiales.*

***Luego de esto, la canción repite la última estrofa un par de veces, e incluye palabras que son muy coloquiales para poder entender su verdadera referencia; pero para mí es una de mis canciones preferidas, con un tema muy lindo y un estilo genial!***
