**Autumn in Southern Washington** In the foothills of the cascade mountain range lies Lower Lewis Falls. An absolute stunner of a waterfall that's perfectly framed on all sides by an abundance of branches and leaves. Autumn isn't a particularly colorful time in the Northwest because most of the trees around here are evergreens. We do have larches in certain alpine areas and a few maples here and there. In my opinion the subtle pop of color from the few orange is just about perfect, a nice contrast between colors...
