<center><strong>Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.</center></strong>

The passage in the book of Proverbs 22:6 gives me understanding of a great responsibility of being a mother. It is for me a calling for you to shape a child for him in the future become a good and God-fearing man. A journey to a motherhood is not an easy job. It takes courage, hardwork, and above all patience, lots of it. Imagine, you are building a virtue towards a life that is entrusted to you.

Training up a child in the way he should go involves commitment. A commitment to God. Therefore, a child must be dedicated to God. We called it dedication because we refered it in God's word, his ways that's shown to us. In the book of Luke 2:22, the account of Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the temple after forty days in order to dedicate Him to the Lord. 

Dedicating a child to God involves your dedication as a parent. Your commitment towards God to mold that child to be a better man because above all, it is the guidance from the Lord that we need to have to be able to carry on the duty as a guardian towards another souls. As they grow up, the children could observe how you trained them that is in lign to what God wanted to for them and that glorifies him.
