Beautiful yet deadly-2

<p>In my last post, I shared some facts about three of the most dangerous snakes of the world which were: rattle snake, black mamba and death adder.</p>

<p>In this post, I will share some information about three more dangerous snakes, whose bite could kill you easily and some wild herbs that could help in case of a snake bite.</p>

<p><strong>1. Vipers.</strong></p>

<p>Vipers are one of the most dangerous snakes found all over the world. The most dangerous though are saw scaled and chain viper which are found in middle east and central Asia.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They are nocturnal and often active after rains. Its fangs are hollow and could be tuck back towards the roof of mouth when not needed.</p>
<p>The biggest danger viper holds is that its venom is very slow acting that the victim may mistake of ignoring it or waiting too long to get treatment.</p>
<p>Treatment can prevent death easily but without it, victim will die in a course of two to four months.</p>

<p><strong>2. Tiger snake.</strong></p>

<p>Found in Australia, they are responsible for most human deaths from snakes as compared to any other snake in Australia.</p>
<p>These beautiful snakes can grow up to 1.6 meters in length and have a 10-15 years life span.</p>
<p>Tiger snake has neuro-toxic venom that can kill a person in 30 mins if not treated. The fatality rate of tiger snake is more than 60%. Symptoms include sweating, breathing problem and paralysis.</p>
<p>Tiger snake will not bite you, but it will try to get away from you if it can, but if it is cornered, it will bite with a dangerous venom that could kill you.</p>

<p><strong>3. Cobra.</strong></p>

<p>Cobras are large and venomous snakes with 270 different varieties. Found in Asia, Africa and Australia they are one of the most feared snakes of all time but the largest of cobras i.e king cobra is on the list of endangered species because of the habitat loss.</p>
<p>King cobra could be 18 feet in length. It can be easily spotted with its hood, which is a flap of skin which cobra uses when it is angry or threatened.</p>
<p>Cobras are used from centuries by snake charmers in Burma as it can be easily trained to show its hood when it rise from bag. They are great in climbing trees and slithering on land and also they are great swimmers.</p>
<p>Most snakes aren't good mothers, but cobras are. She lays 20-40 eggs in a nest after mating and then rest on them till hatching. But they leave just before hatching in order to avoid temptation of eating the new born snakes.</p>
<p>Yellow mongoose is the enemy of king cobra as it is immune to its venom.</p>
<p>Still king cobra is enough poisonous that its bite can kill a human in less than an hour if left untreated as it targets human central nervous system.</p>

<p>Some natural things that can reduce the effect of venom in our body if bitten in wild.</p>
<p><strong>1. Curry leaves.</strong></p>
<p>A porridge made of curry leaves can be used in reducing the effect of snake bite until treatment is done.</p>
<p><strong>2. Mongoose Plant.</strong></p>
<p>The herb can be used as an antidote against russel viper.</p>
<p><strong>3. Plantain Leaves.</strong></p>
<p>It looks like spinach, the leaves of this plant if applied on the bitten area can take out venom from body and also reduces pain.</p>
