### Introduction

E.F.A (eSteem for All) is a learning class held by several Steemit Mentors to users of @good-karma apps, @esteemapp. The beginning of E.F.A formed is due to eSteem curator's eagerness when filtering out the content they want to get curated, they find lots of unfit content to get upvote. Finally came the initiative to open a special writing class for eSteem users _(eSteemians)_, so that the content they write is qualified and worthy of curation.

One of the founders of E.F.A @foways said, that we promised within three days (during the class) their content deserves curation.

The mentors who will teach the EFA classes and admin on duty are as follows:

### Mechanism

We open a writing class registration that we name as **E.F.A Premiere Class** for all eSteemian (currently only for Indonesia only) through the registration link we deploy on some discord servers and WhatsApp group. The message contains a whatsapp link that will lead automatically to the number I have set, where this number is the Robot that will automatically reply to messages we send in accordance with certain commands. Then the participants who meet the criteria will be sorted from here, such as reputation, name of the participant, including participants who have joined previously if they register again.

### How Bot Works

I created this bot by registering the number +62 813 7719 0852 as WhatsApp Bussines account. Because of the many features that can be used if using WAB as the presence _welcome message_ and _auto reply_.

Then, I created a registration link using `api.whatsapp` with the following command:

Then the long url is shorted using url shortner bitly.com/, so it becomes http://bit.ly/KelasEFAeSteem and ready to spread.

1. When the link is clicked, it will be directed to a web message that will send a message at a predefined number.

2. Then, when we click `SEND`, then WhatsApp application will open automatically via our phone and will input the pre-defined message. Or if you open WhatsApp Web then it will be redirected to https://web.whatsapp.com/.

3. After the `Daftar EFA Premiere Class` message send, then Bot will reply automatically with the following message:

4. We simply reply to this message by: `/register` then there will be a command to replace **our WA account name** with what the bot instructed. In the message there will be a picture link that will show an example of how to change the name correctly.

5. Next, we just go to **Settings> Profile> Edit Name**. Then save.

6. Once your name has been properly changed according to the instructions, then type the `/join` command, then send. Then the bot will reply that we have changed the name correctly and will be given a link to join the WhatsApp group **EFA Premiere Class**.

7. Please join the group.

8. Congratulations, you have joined the group **EFA Premiere Class** and will receive the material for the next three days.

### Conclusions

The purpose of this bot is made as registration is to filter/sort participants. And this works quite well and proven, of the many who click on the link, only a few people who are interested to register and follow the instructions correctly until enter into the group.

Until this registration is closed, only **81** participants registered and follow the instructions until entered into the group of the total **260** click.

And of course the names will be _shorted_ again so that later on the final exam will be held there will be only a few names that are stated **GRADUATE** because it is taking the class well, practicing materials that have been accepted during the class took place and become a good content writer. And in the future we hopes their will be a mentors in the next EFA class.
