# steem is a dud . 

Steem’s value has hardly gone northwards hovering around the $1.00 mark . What’s the reason ? Dull platform , blockchain tech has nothing to offer ? Like majority of the cryptos out there ? 

Honestly , let’s look at at Lumens (XLM ) . It’s sitting at around 0.09 at press time . Lumens or stellar has a much better blockchain platform although I don’t like their posting site . If you looked at Lumens a few weeks ago it was at 3 cents . Steem has been at 0.90c or thereabouts for s long time . 

It’s about time the creators of steemit rethink their value proposition as of right now it’s a glorified pyramid scheme with little to offer . No offence to the users or creators , just my honest opinion
