My entry to the Qurator’s Photo Quest | Repetition — Self-similarity

This is my entry in the Qurator’s Photo Quest of this week,  the topic is **REPETITION**. The rules of the contest can be read [here](https://hive.blog/qurator/@qurator/qurator-s-photo-quest-or-repetition).

The notion of repetition of a pattern at different scales forms the basic idea of self-similarity, a concept fundamental in the world of **fractals**. Usually I search for this patterns when I take photos.

The photo that I show corresponds to the celling of the palm house at **Kew Gardens (London)**. I flipped the image in order to create a more dramatic effect. The camera that I used was a Sony DSC-F717.
