Over the weekend, students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology got the chance to pitch their ideas. Although not just ideas, they were basically solutions to the problems Agriculture is facing- the day-to-day problems farmers experienced on the farm, the problem of storage and distribution amidst others. 
 The main aim of the FarmHack was to get student’s opinion on how to solve agricultural problems using Technology. Agriculture, been a world saving and lucrative business when utilized optimally glaringly has some problems facing it. Therefore, solving the problems facing agriculture will help make the food produce sustainable. Investing more and solving the problems of agriculture in each country will help achieve development.
After a day of introduction, bounding and   grouping, the real task began overnight.  Hours was spent strategizing, analyzing and working on ideas to ensure each group presents the best pitch idea. In teams, members worked hand in hand as each member irrespective of course of study is given a chance to contribute.

At the long run, ideas were presented to the judges/ investors and team FOODDATA won. Their idea was on the fact that they can provide statistical data on food growth in Nigeria. Gemste Cycle was the First Runner-up while ProFarm followed as the Second Runner- Up.
