The first two episodes of Marvel's new series *Inhumans* will  be in IMAX theaters starting on Thursday August 31st. This is a very unique way to present the premier of a brand new series.

*Inhumans* takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be connected to ABC's *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* Although not a direct spinoff, scenes shown at San Diego's Comic Con reveal that the characters at the very least know about the presence of Inhumans on Earth as well as the existence of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Inhumans are a race of superhuman appearing in many different comic books dating back to *The Fantastic Four* in 1965. The Inhumans are a result of aline creatures, known as The Kree, performing experiments on primitive Homo sapiens on Earth. The race developed into the Inhumans and lived in secret separately form humans. Over generations they discovered how to unleash their various super powers.

The show (and IMAX "movie") will center on the Inhuman royal family consisting of Black Bolt, Maximus, Medusa, Gorgon, Karnak, and Crystal.

The show also features Lockjaw a GIGANTIC bulldog with the power to teleport himself and others. (I can't wait to see him in action).

The "movie" will run for only two weeks. So if you'd like to see *Inhumans* on the HUGE screen before seeing them on the small screen, you better hurry.
