They say that there are good times that should always be remembered. There are friendships that you keep in your memory and keep in mind as the years go by. I found these photographs in my gallery when I was at the Benign and Vicente Sánchez Museum of the Andes in the town of San Rafael de Mucuchíes in the State of Mérida, Venezuela.

The person next to me was one of my classmates and a great high school friend. Anyelit taught me that the value of a person is not measured by what they know, but by what they are capable of doing. Words will only be empty words if we are not capable of materializing them into actions. 

#

I remember that ever since we started studying together, I always had the courage to say what my shortcomings were—a true and attentive friendship. When I say attentive, I mean the ability to tell me what others are silent about.

There were many things we did in Baccalaureate. Anyelit was a person who knew how to understand my other classmates. Even better than me. It's really nice to come across these pictures and leave a memorable souvenir of an amazing friendship.

On that trip, we didn't know what would happen. We learned to appreciate each other and have fun as friends. Normal, ordinary kids who didn't know what would happen in the coming years in our country.

Life is like that! You live moments, and thanks to technology, we can leave them materialized in a photograph that will make us remember those memories. That priceless and unrepeatable moment of life.

> Hubo muchas cosas que hicimos en Bachillerato. Anyelit fue una persona que supo comprender a mis otros compañeros. Incluso mejor que yo. Es realmente agradable encontrarme con estas fotografías y dejar un recuerdo memorable de una amistad increíble.

> En ése viaje donde no sabíamos qué ocurriría. Aprendimos a valorar y a divertirnos como amigos. Chicos normales, comunes y qué no sabían lo que pasaría los próximos años en nuestro país.
