How do you think this platform was built? Developers.

How do you think the website manages to stay up and running? Developers and systems administrators. 

Who do you think is responsible for fixing bugs and adding new features to make the system viable for the mainstream? Same thing... Developers.

It takes thought leaders to come up with ideas, developers to implement them, marketers to market them, content creators to create valuable content, and curators to distribute the reward pool. 

Never once did I say developers are the only necessary ingredient. 

But you know, people are allowed different opinions than you if they wish. 

You support projects that resonate with you and that you can get behind. Whether you like it or not, cryptocurrency is a developer dominated space. And developers get paid a lot due to the demand. 

Cryptocurrency and high tech systems in their infancy OWE IT TO THE DEVELOPERS if they are to stay alive. This is an industry that changes every single day, sometimes by a lot. 

The minnows and bloggers can comfortably sit back and be assured there are people working 18+ hour days coding to ensure this platform lives on.

Yes, I will support those people first and foremost anyway. 

If that makes you want to quit SteemIt then I don't know what to tell you. Allowing your own perception of something to be swayed so greatly by someone's opinion isn't that healthy. 

Some people think the content creators "are the most important" because we wouldn't be reading anything without them. But I disagree with that because if there is a working system where people can get paid to write, we will never be hard up for writers.
