<div class=text-justify>Despite the busy week at work as I prepare for my vacation and travel next week, I remain dedicated to visiting the #introduceyourself tags a couple of times this week. While I did see a slow down on some activity, I did see more than usual engagement going on in comments and upvotes. I have been seeing a number of large accounts curating these post more often which I think is great as you can provide some much-needed motivation for them to remain active. Unfortunately for me, it means being late to the game in discovering new users to highlight here. However, a couple of coincided with those I want to feature. Either way, it does not stop me from continuing my project to curate new users; in fact, it encourages me to do it more often in the hopes that new users continue to be actively curated by these accounts.<p>

There are a number of things I have been noticing as of late while going through this process. First, as the cryptocurrency markets improve there are a number of users joining given their interest in these assets. I have always believed that Steem is a great way to get new entrants in the crypto space acquainted with blockchain technology and it’s inner workings. Therefore, I believe we have an opportunity to serve as that gateway for the many adopters that are still yet to come. Second, is the lack of people I have expected to see given the new account creation systems and set ups that many large Dapps or communities have set up. I rarely read any new users saying they joined by signing up at one of these communities.  This may be a missed opportunity as providing an introduction paves the way to engage users and get them motivated for the long-term. I think it’s more about the onboarding which is why we need to ensure that those communities are surrounded by a strong onboarding process so that these remain relevant in our ecosystem.

@jorgerml is a [Venezuelan photographer](https://partiko.app/@jorgerml/mi-presentacion-en-steemit?referrer=newageinv) that fell in love with the world beneath the sea at a young age given hos closeness to the beautiful coast of his hometown.  This passion for the ocean and its life lead him to become a photographer to capture the images of an impressive ecosystem in the sea.  He also turned the passion into a career as he also bow provides Scuba instruction as well!  Seems like a great combination to share with the Steem community! @shadlife is a young mechanical engineer that recently [introduced himself](https://partiko.app/@shadlife/new-to-steemit-introducing-myself?referrer=newageinv) to the community and shared his hobbies and interests.  He is from Bangladesh but went to the UK at age 11 where he studied.  He enjoy going to the gym and photography in addition to cars.  He hopes to achieve financial freedom by continually learning and focusing on improving himself.

@cryptotokeneur is a [cryptocurrency enthusiast](https://partiko.app/@cryptotokeneur/cryptocurrency-enthsuiast-first-post-i-am-about-making-money?referrer=newageinv) that has come to the Steem blockchain to continue to journey with blockchain and cryptos in search of financial freedom for him and his three children. He wants to approach blogging here by learning from the community while sharing his passion for Crypto.  When I started, I remember most posts being similar to this but it has long since changed.

@dutybound is an [artist](https://partiko.app/@dutybound/an-awkward-hello-from-an-introverted-artist?referrer=newageinv) that was drawn to the platform by some videos of other Steemians and by enjoying the interface and content seen on SteemPeak. He does a lot of digital art and photography as a hobby and often does for his children. His focus will be to share these works and provide tutorials as he continues to explore the ecosystem and its Dapps more frequently.

@wendolonia is a mother of two boys that is [bringing](https://partiko.app/@wendolonia/bento-boxes-scrapbooking-bullet-journal-and-momming-my-intro?referrer=newageinv) her love for crafts to the community to share.  She loves creating bento boxes, scrapbooks and even planners by given her own artistic spin to them.  She has even gotten into authoring and now vlogging to share her creations! It seems that her start has been quite active which is great to see in new users!

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform.  I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
