(Eng/Esp) Cleanliness is next to Godliness: keeping my room clean for the week ahead.// La limpieza está al lado de Dios: mantener mi habitación limpia para la semana que viene.

Hello it's the weekend and weekends over here are dedicated to cleaning the house and keeping things clean. This is mostly because weekdays are usually dedicated to work and other activities, hence people not having the chance to clean their homes. This is the category I belonged to. I have been away from home for over two weeks. Coming home, everything was misplaced and there was a need for me to put things in their rightful places.

I just finished cleaning up my room and It took about 4 hours to achieve this. I began by putting out everything in my storage box and washing it. I took advantage of the rain and washed the basket in the rain water. It was so clean and sparkling. I allowed it to dry before taking it back to the house.

Meanwhile, I had to remove some of my old clothes and give it out. I had planned this but I couldn't figure out who to give it to. So I decided to remove and put them in a separate bag. This is to help reduce loads in the room. I carefully put them in a separate bag and keep it on top of my wardrobe.

After that, I started removing cobwebs from the walls. It was everywhere in the room making it  untidy. I removed it from the four corners of the room and on the ceilings. 

Away from that I removed all the things in my cupboard and rearranged them. It was so neat that I was happy with the way the things were so arranged.

Lastly I swept the room and mopped it. My TV sets and sound systems were not left out as I was able to dust everything and they came out clean and fine. 

Cleaning is next to godliness. Living in a clean environment is a first step to avoiding disease and sickness.

Hola, es fin de semana y aquí los fines de semana se dedican a limpiar la casa y mantener las cosas limpias. Esto se debe principalmente a que los días laborables suelen estar dedicados al trabajo y otras actividades, por lo que la gente no tiene la oportunidad de limpiar sus casas. Yo pertenezco a esta categoría. He estado fuera de casa más de dos semanas. Al volver a casa, todo estaba mal colocado y necesitaba poner las cosas en su sitio.

Acabo de terminar de limpiar mi habitación y he tardado unas 4 horas en hacerlo. Empecé sacando todo lo que había en mi caja de almacenaje y lavándolo. Aproveché la lluvia y lavé la cesta en el agua de lluvia. Quedó muy limpia y reluciente. La dejé secar antes de llevarla de vuelta a casa.

Mientras tanto, tuve que sacar parte de mi ropa vieja y repartirla. Lo había planeado, pero no sabía a quién dársela. Así que decidí sacarla y ponerla en una bolsa aparte. Esto es para ayudar a reducir la carga en la habitación. Las metí con cuidado en una bolsa aparte y la guardé encima del armario.

Después, empecé a quitar las telarañas de las paredes. Había telarañas por todas partes y la habitación estaba desordenada. Las quité de las cuatro esquinas de la habitación y de los techos.

Además, quité todas las cosas del armario y las reorganicé. Estaba tan ordenado que me alegré de la forma en que estaban dispuestas las cosas.

Por último barrí la habitación y pasé la fregona. Mis televisores y equipos de sonido no se quedaron fuera, ya que pude quitarles el polvo y quedaron limpios y bien. 

La limpieza está al lado de la piedad. Vivir en un entorno limpio es el primer paso para evitar enfermedades y dolencias.
