0.000 HBDKraków Election Results: There Will Be A Second Round On November 4
After today's [local elections in Kraków](https://steemit.com/krakow/@newforyou/local-presidential-elections-in-krakow-today) the unofficial results are in. The outcome is more or less as expected, with a slightly higher percentage for the top two candidates than in the polls. That means there will be a run-off election on Sunday, November 4, between Jacek Majchrowski and Małgorzata Wassermann. Wassermann is spinning this as a majority for change:

The long hashtag is her main slogan, which means "new president, more possibilities". [More reactions here](https://krknews.pl/co-wydarzy-sie-w-ii-turze-ostre-zapowiedzi-czekaja-nas-gorace-dwa-tygodnie/) (in Polish). It's not a neutral source, but PiS is indeed doing relatively well in the regional assemblies. On the other hand, they didn't get a second round in Warsaw, where they had a better candidate than the Civic Platform. And finally, I'm sad to say that Kraków might lose K-pop fan Sylwia if President Majchrowski is re-elected:

*In the future, this account will focus on hard news from all over the world, but we'll start by giving you information about Kraków and Poland in the run-up to Steemfest 3, including tourist information, weather reports, history and local news.
