After graduation in 2015. I waited for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) process that came and went, all through that time I was searching for something that meets my passion; Acting, singing, dancing and research more especially. But then little or nothing came out from it all.  Then came NYSC and all its happenings. 

But then in camp I developed myself in bead making which was one thing I liked but I wasn't satisfied because it doesn't meet my passion(research and creativity) and what I wanted to be known for. Why did I join the bead makers?  The creativity and the beauty it attached. Yes I made my pay. 30k in two weeks from two clients. But that wasn't what I wanted.

Then after my National Youth Service. The reality struck. You can't sit around waiting for employment, everyone keeps saying. So I made arrangement for training in five different careers, a mistake I made.(trying to be jack of all trade and master of none).

But in that time I came across a training for people who love tech and coding. I applied but didn't work out cause i didn't have a laptop.  I relaxed, then five months down my training I wasn't productive in any form just moving back and forth. 

I was almost giving up when I was sent a link to join an event in port Harcourt. *Women in Tech* I was excited about it, I followed up did all my research and the event came and I attended, that was the shift I got and yes I was satisfied, I knew then i was where I ought to be.

The power of networking landed me where i am today and I will always preach Tech. Three months in it and everyday tells a new story.
