If you're a book lover like me, then you probably would have made some questionable financial decisions. Like choosing to buy a novel instead of that important personal item needed. Or walking past a food vendor with money in your pocket because, there's a new **"thriller"** that just dropped and you have to know who the **"killer** is.

Over the years, i have spent a lot on books. Like, ***a lot.*** Sometimes more than I've spent on personal needs. One time in high school, I spent my lunch money on a fantasy novel.....no regrets thou. Just that I had to to keep yawning while reading about a king feasting on roasted turkey 😁🥲

Books are becoming more expensive every day. You go online to check the price of that bestseller everyone is talking about and your heart just skips a beat.

***15,000 for just a book??? I mean one book??? Not the entire shelf?????***

***Welp!!!!!!!!!!***

***Please, am I buying the book or the whole publishing house?????***

To make matters worse, when you finally save up to buy one, you finish it in two - three days and return back to square one .......bookless and broke 🥲

I knew there had to be a better way, and that was why I Begin **"The book hunt."**

*My goal??* To find websites where I can read books without always sacrificing my last card.

I tried many websites and some of them were total disaster. One site nearly gave my phone a virus. And others were just displaying annoying ads like I asked for them.

 One lazy Sunday afternoon,  I was complaining to my friend about how I needed new books to read but my bank account was on vacation, with no hope of returning anytime soon. That was when she asked me if I had tried Oceanofpdf

*Ocean of what???? I asked*

She laughed and said **"Oceanofpdf."** She explained it was a website to source free books, any genre.

Now, lemme pause and say this....
Whenever someone tells me something is free, I don't just believe them immediately. Especially in this economy. Many times **"free"** comes with ten hidden catches, you either see a hundred ads, or be asked to sign up with your blood type, or even download a pdf that is actually a list of vegetables....so annoying!!!!!!!

But, because I was desperate and curious, I checked it out.
And lemme tell you....It was reallllll

**Oceanofpdf** is just what it sounds and looks like; a huge ocean filled with PDF versions of books.

From romance to thriller, horror to fantasy to even classics. It's just like walking into a digital library where everything is free and nobody is asking you to return the books in 7 days.

And the best part??? The site is clean....**Sooooo freaking!!! clean!!!!**

 No annoying ads jumping out like mosquitoes, no weird links  trying to convince you to invest in goat farming.

I searched for some of my favorite authors just to test the site, and guess what??? They were all there.

Even  the "The Subtle Art of not giving a........" Well, you know the title

At one point, I started laughing, I downloaded 7 books that night. I would have downloaded more, but my phone memory said "Please ma, we are full."

Since I started using **Oceanofpdf,** my reading life has improved 10000%. 

No more waiting for Payday to buy one book, no more hoping for discounts or begging friends to borrow me their copies. Now I have an entire library in my phone. I read on my way to work, I read during lunch breaks and even in traffic (don't judge me).

The joy of it all is that reading has become so easyyyyyy. No stress, no drama, just me and my stories.

**Now a side talk 🙄**

Yes, free books are sweet. But I still try to support my favorite authors when I can. If i read a book on Oceanofpdf and I really enjoy it, I make a a mental note to buy a copy or recommend to someone who can.


It's like eating free puff puff at a party.... You still remember to thank the host right?


So, if you're tired of spending too much on books, if your reading list is longer than your budget 😁

***Runnnnnn!!!!*** Don't walk to Oceanofpdf.
 But be warned !!!! once you enter, you might not come out again. You'll be stuck downloading books at 1am and whispering to yourself, "Just one more chapter...."
Next thing you know, it's 4AM and you're emotionally invested in a character that doesn't even exist in real life.

Your phone memory? Finished.
Your happiness? PEAK LEVEL.

because nothing beats that feeling of endless stories at your fingertips.....free, fast and drama free😁
