Time to write my first proper post on Hive and I am going to devote the first few posts to my photography archives. Photographers all have their little niches, sometimes we don't realise it until we look back retrospectively. In my case, I am obsessed with doors.

In the above photo, I came across this fine specimen on the delightful island of Malta. No matter where you venture on the island you are never far from a building with great character. Valletta is a prime example of such grandeur. It wasn't originally the capital, Mdina fulfilled that role initially.
