It is a reality, we can not live without our beloved apps, knowing that through these mechanisms the big technology companies like Google, Facebook, Apple or Amazon take the data we provide for free and resell them as if they were theirs to the highest bidder.

And if there is something that is worth as much or more than gold, Bitcoin or oil for certain companies, it is precisely that data that we stupidly give away to the big technology companies, in exchange for which they allow us to share selfies and other stupid things on their social networks. More than a 'Win-Win' relationship is the story of a real scam.

We all know any number of stories about companies like Facebook, which use the data we upload on their platform to resell it to other companies (or governments), this without asking for our authorization and making an obscene fortune at the expense of our naivety (or stupidity). I remember the statements of a person who while on vacation in another country, another continent, observed a large advertising billboard where he observed with astonishment that the protagonist of the same was himself, with an image that evidently took 'borrowed' from his account in the social network of the 'F'.

What to say about the case that uncovered everything, when Facebook and the technological companies recognized that they shamelessly sold our information to the company Cambridge Analytica, which with the help of our data brought Donald Trump to the presidency and other leaders who paid large amounts of money to achieve their electoral goals. It is clear that the political power will do little or nothing to protect our information, therefore we have at our disposal some platforms where we can sell our data without the big scammers, sorry, technological, can avoid it.

There are several sites where to direct our information and sell it to whoever wants to buy it, being [Solid](https://solid.mit.edu/#home), created by Tim Berners-Lee, founder of the World Wide Web (www), which offers the possibility for registered users to maintain direct contact with buyers, even offering data exchanges for cryptocurrencies in exchange for your medical history, personal photos or financial data. All this information is safeguarded in a blockchain, which offers certain security in operations.

It should be noted that, in general, this type of business does not generate significant income to our accounts or wallets, however, these options give us the opportunity to dispose by ourselves of the information that belongs to us without third parties benefiting from it without our consent.
