The gateway is a means to send to and from Bitshares your WEKUs so you can trade them, and convert them to BTC, Steem, FIAT.

# **The principle is easy:**
* **OUTGOING**: You send WEKU from your wallet in main.weku.io to @rev-bank putting as memo you **BitShares** Address

* **INCOMING**: You send WEKUCOIN from your Bitshares Wallet to @rev-bank using as memo you **Weku Username**

You need to have a bitshares account to use Bitshares, this is beyond the scope of this tutorial, i am sure you can use google to find out how to create an account.

# **To send WEKU to Bitshares**
1 -. Go to your wallet
2 -. Click the small arrow next to your WEKU balance
3 -. Click on transfer on the menu

**The dialog for transfers will appear:**

1 -. Fill the TO: field with rev-bank
2 -. Fill the amount you want to transfer
3 -. Write in the MEMO: field YOUR BitShares Address
4 -. Press the SEND Button

# **Wait 1 to 4 minutes and the funds should be in your BitShares account.**
Send only to @rev-bank and be careful to type properly your bitshares name in the MEMO field we cannot recover funds you send to someone else by mistake.

# **To send WEKUCOIN from BitShares to WEKU**
1-. Go to your dashboard
2 -. Find in your portfolio WEKUCOIN and hit the send button

3 -. Fill the TO: field with rev-bank
4 -. Write the amount to transfer
5 -. Fill in the Memo / Message field your WEKU account name
6 -. Press the SEND button on top

I don't really know how to make it clearer or easier, I know some people is lazy and don't want to learn how to trade, I don't condone that because the market needs liquidity, but hell...

I know my mother would not be able to use BitShares, for those people (And mom) i am working on fixing the BOTs that allow for direct transfer to and from STEEM because i known especially Venezuelans love giving their hard earned steem for very cheap to those scammy "Casas de Cambio" that are the only Venezuelans that have become rich with steem...
