Working on the Set of Something Else
*Yesterday was probably one of the quietest days I've experienced, in a long time, at least.   The blog was quiet.   Life was quiet.   Even the mind took a bit of a break, which was nice, for a change.*

### Took a few photos today!
Unfortunately, I still need to learn a lot when it comes to photography, so you won't be seeing those today.&nbsp; Someday I'll purchase some better equipment and *maybe* do a few photography posts for you to enjoy.&nbsp; *I've probably been saying that for years.*

__A follower recently requested to see some art.&nbsp; *That I can do*.__

I have a few things on my mind though and I feel like sharing those first.&nbsp; This is a blog post so, *writing a few words might not be such a bad idea anyway.*

**Far too much of my time is spent producing art.**&nbsp; You folks reading this are the only people who get to see it.&nbsp; A quiet day like yesterday in the blog space can be a bit discouraging but I'm sure we all have those days from time to time.&nbsp; *Things were far worse when I was just starting out and that wasn't enough to stop me.*

Some folks might think I'm crazy for choosing this platform to share things like art and my sometimes somewhat unique writing style.&nbsp; *They're probably right.*

## *Because I am crazy!*
I was looking around the internet, including this platform, and noticed even more artists are using artificial intelligence to produce their art now.&nbsp; *Upload an image or two, turn a few dials, hit a few buttons, within seconds the programs spit out something random and call it art.*

**Damn robots are going to put me out of work!**
*I'm just kidding...*

Like I said, *I spend too much time working on art.*&nbsp; This is a tough gig trying to publish damn near daily posts and always trying to include new artwork within.&nbsp; I can see why some folks would take the automated approach. *Hopefully many will continue to be honest.*

The only thing worse than a plagiarist on this platform is an art fraudster.&nbsp; So far I've observed people being honest about the programs they use to automate their images but we all know about those people who attempt to dupe others into thinking what you're looking at was created from scratch with actual hands and minds.

### Thinking back.
*My early days working on this blog.*

It used to be called *Steemit* and a huge portion of the *art clique* at the time was seemingly *anti-digital art.*

Some of those folks wouldn't even speak to me because I didn't use a pencil, paintbrush, crayon, what have you.&nbsp; I chose not to use the 'traditional' *process art blog template* either because I'm also fond of writing.

So I'd spend a few hours working on art, more time hammering keys to tell a story or just ramble on entertainingly.&nbsp; All that work and on a few occasions I'd be met with:

> *"I can't vote for this.&nbsp; How am I to know you didn't just push a button?"*

Which would be much like me looking at some photos of physical art and saying something equally obnoxious like, ***"How am I to know you didn't simply throw a can of paint at that canvas?"***

### An outsider facing adversity.
*That's nothing new.*

I'm happy things went the way they did.&nbsp; My style evolved over time, *as styles do.*

In order to mess with those folks who thought I was simply pushing a button to generate automated images, I started stashing faces or side profiles of heads in my work.

It went from something like this in the early days:

<center>![Dee Sea Copy.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nonameslefttouse/YaG1GKCL-Dee20Sea20-20Copy.jpeg)</center><center>***Dee Sea***</center>

To this produced recently:

**Eventually, instead of hiding them, they become the stars of the show now.**&nbsp; *If you look close though you might see I still stashed a face within a face.*

What started out as a subtle way to differentiate something creative from something automated turned into what keeps me incredibly busy these days.

## *Anyway...*
*Time for something new.*

On a couple of occasions I've [explained](https://peakd.com/life/@nonameslefttouse/the-land-of-missed-opportunities) to you folks how some of the art I'm producing now is actually meant for a much larger project I have planned for the future.

The one I released yesterday, *that looks like this:*

<center>![NoNamesLeftToUse Finally Free.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nonameslefttouse/EKQcp2mE-NoNamesLeftToUse20-20Finally20Free.png)</center>

The image included in the link "explained" above that looks like this:

Even this one from long ago:

<center>![NoNamesLeftToUse I'll See You in the Morning.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nonameslefttouse/Se5IAL3W-NoNamesLeftToUse20-20Ill20See20You20in20the20Morning.jpeg)</center>

Those three and many more you may have seen are all intended to be included in this massive undertaking.

### *And now my latest creation as well:*

### I'm in no rush.
***Mainly because it all takes so damn long.***

Not everything I publish here is for ***The Big One.***

I'm all over the place and busy with life as well.&nbsp; I don't have publicists hounding me or deadlines to meet.&nbsp; It's all on my time and I assume I'll be alive at least for a few more years, *I hope.*

I can take my time, *get things right.*

Even if it's quiet here on the platform for a day or the post is a total flop, at least I know for the most part, it's not the end of the line for me.&nbsp; *I enjoy doing this anyway, even on my worst days.*

Not here because I need to be.&nbsp; Here because I want to be.&nbsp; Each day inching closer and closer to realizing my full potential.
