This summer during our vacations in Canada I saw for the first time a beer self service station. It was love on a first sight. 

The system was pretty clever. You had to buy a prepaid card and then select one of the 14 beers on the station.

It was mainly craft beers from local micro breweries, so chances that you knew one from before were slim. That is why you could use the small glasses to taste it before pouring the whole pint.

Beer tap was enabled after placing the prepaid card onto it. It showed you your limit and how much beer was left on the tab.

When the card was empty, the beer station greeted you with this unpleasant message :)
