The Bodhisattva of Compassion at Gilsangsa, temple of Korea resembles the icon of Virgin Mary somewhere in Korean cathedral, the epitome of a compassionate Korean mother. It is localized mixture of Korean Buddhism and Catholic. When any religion becomes indigenous, the icon of it resembles the individuality of these peoples. It might be reflection of collective unconscious of them. I also thought of the small but beautiful spirituality when I first saw the Black Madonna at Montserrat. It is something in common, which is present under the people's subconscious.
