One more point that I'd like to add is that because I put a small fraction of my stock portfolio earnings into cryptocurrencies, it made it a lot more fun because win or lose it was no big deal. I suppose it's the same philosophy as when you go to Vegas - except here the odds are much, much more in your favor!
