Frustrated, sober and annoyed, this has always been the way I feel, about six months ago.

Procrastination was my best friend, as I always postpone important tasks to the next day, and I spend my time on unprofitable things, like socials,Netflix and listening to musics. Though I love it, but I hate it at the same time.

As the course representative of my class, more was expected from me, but then, I was always no where to be found. When I get a task from the school authority, I end up not doing it, until the day of deadline. Two hours to deadline, to be more specific.

Even when I used applications that promised to help me with my social media addiction, I end up deleting the application.

With low input to many activities, I began to lose some positions as well as some connections, and I began to slowly drift away from reality. What's more? I began to be broke every time.

One day, we were having lectures by one of the female lecturers. Trust women to always jump from one topic to another. Topics that aren't related to the lecture.

She was teaching Anatomy and physiology, but jumped into time management out of the blue.

What seemed to be useless, began to feel like she was talking to me directly. She elaborated on the necessity of managing time, as she went further to tell us how she managed her time.

She made known the importance of planning, and scheduling activities, and making sure that, no matter what, these activities, are achieved before the next day.

Obviously, I was not immediately going to accept her words and change, but wig time, I began to concur with what she said.

I began to apply the Concept of scale of preference on my daily activities, in place of my wants.

Every day, I make a schedule of the things I want to do. At the top part of my schedule, lyes the most important activity that I need to accomplish for the day. A time frame to accomplish the activity is also set, with alarms on my phone to remind me of what I need to do, and when I need to do it.

Sometimes, I feel lazy and want to lazy around, but then, the constant sound of my alarm will always remind me that I have works to do.

Additionally, to ease my stress, and help me stay focused, I do go for night walks.

Thank you for reading
