Intruders on the sand at the beach / Landscape Photography Round 125
Greetings!

How are you doing, Photo Landscape Fans?

I hope you are doing great in your region. If you have a moment to explore with me, the special event that I discovered on the beach last weekend.

It was a sunny day, the sand was exceptionally clean. I noticed that the Sunday state of the brown sand was not so shiny on the previous occasion I visited the beach.

It may be explained by the storm two days ago that created large waves and powerful sand removal from the coast and at the same time deposit of clean material of thine particle on certain locations on the coastline.

I was enjoying the nice view, capturing the unique moment on my camera for late review, when I saw 100 meters away a large dark object on the sand.

It looked like a large object leaf on the spot by fishermen hurry to attend other businesses.

I was surprise to identify my mysterious object on the beach as a large trunk of coconut tree.

My first thoughts went straight to the opposite side of the waves. I was looking for a spot missing a tree.

I was not possible to complete the scenario of a tree being rooted out and dragged over 500 meters to be left three meters away from the Ocean.

This tree trunk looks a bit destroy on the upper part, while the base has lost all the root tubes characteristic of the species.

My landscape photo capture for the day became an investigation of the origin of this trunk. The most difficult part of the search for answer was the distance and time it took for the water to break up this massive tree.

It was clear that the nearby plant of coconut tree could not be the place where this destroys trunk was picked from on the beach.

The Ocean has been dragging a large part of the coast on different site on the coastline. Those sites are under permanent monitoring and nobody is allowed to stay without permission in this highly dangerous area.

If I can guess correctly the nearest site, the waves should have carried this trunk over 20 miles.

It happens that on the next city far at the many miles from the road the coconut trees are planted so densely that you can barely feel the power of the wind from the Ocean.

The area was not affected by the dangerous land erosion caused by the Ocean. The situation just got out of hand for the past decade. National Organizations have been working to solve the problems with the help of international partners.

If the tree can be transported and dropped on the sand the way these photos show us, I would expect more intrusion on this beautiful ecosystem of more elements taken by the Ocean and left on the beach in the coming days.

I found this intrusion on the landscape view a sign of the power of nature but also the beauty in the balance of this complex environment.

All should take notice of such phenomena to avoid in the future the risk of getting hit by heavy object transported by the Ocean and drop on the beach while people are surfing or swim.
