Hello everyone! This is the 1476th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its <b><a href="https://peakd.com/hive-174578/@ocdb/ocd-communities-incubation-program-update-151">Community Incubation Program</a></b>. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive. 
</div>

<h4>How this Works</h4>

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

This book I requested for Christmas along with the Vera Brittain and was happy to receive both on my doorstep. Obviously, Thick Skin by Hilary Peach took priority because her story directly impacts me since I'm somewhat living in her footsteps as a modern day Canadian boilermaker chick. From what I understand, she started earlier as she talks about hitting jobs in 2000 and I started in 2006 or 2007. Obviously some of her stories make me smirk and can easily relate to many aspects, especially when she describes certain processes or description of equipment we work on that I have photos of that I will share in this post. Perhaps I'll make the book review when I finish.

I have a white, a red and an orange one in Switzerland, a blue one in The Netherlands at my in-laws, and a green one in Slovakia at my mom's place, so I can make my matcha latte at all 'my homes'. I must admit that there are strict usage rules of my Mumu cow mugs and I am the only one who can use them. I am convinced that this is one of the reasons why they are still intact. If one of them broke my heart would break a little too 😊
