Hello everyone! This is the 2012th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its <b><a href="https://peakd.com/hive-174578/@ocdb/ocd-communities-incubation-program-update-154">Community Incubation Program</a></b>. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive. 
</div>

<h4>How this Works</h4>

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

<blockquote>Hello to everyone in this beautiful music community. I have the pleasure of sharing my trumpet performance of "Mary, Did You Know?", a beautiful gospel ballad composed by Buddy Greene and Mark Lowry, is inspired by rhetorical questions to Mary, the mother of Jesus of Nazareth. The lyrics are charming and poetic, speaking of the divinity of the Son of God, his origins, and his miracle-filled life. I first heard it in an a cappella version by Pentatonix. It's a very popular song in choral groups and some Christmas TV commercials. The original version is in the key of C major; in my case, I perform it in E major. The melodic contour is intimate, with intervals of thirds to ask questions. This ballad has a slow, reflective tempo, with a time signature of 4/4. The piano in the background is wonderful; it's like a whisper to the heart.

Definitely, this is a day that I will remember as one of the happiest of my life, for the adventure and the new experience, and also for having lived it with special people. It was one of the songs I put the most effort into learning early on, since it was considered “difficult.” And believe me when I say: every bassist wants to be like Flea (or at least play his songs). I haven’t been playing bass for that long, about 4 years, but it’s an instrument that completely stole my heart. Its role as the backbone of a band is crucial. There’s a funny yet very true saying in audio engineering: you’ll never hear a bass solo, but the moment it stops, everyone notices something’s missing.
