This is the 945th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Curated Posts
Author: @mell79 Community: Family & Friends
https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/mell79/Eou9BGgthL55sNicwp3RYzKVkKBy2iqKsqCd1fvc7EdEtbgzfVsWPPBAh5Btgwz72xR.jpg

ANOTHER JOURNEY WITH MY DAUGHTER.

This weeks are going to be extremely hectic for me, as I mentioned in my previous blog. Believe it or not, the first time I set foot in this kind of park was when I was in my second year of college. My classmates asked me to come with them, so I bought my first ever "ride all you can" ticket with my hard-earned money because I was a working student back then. If you're wondering why it took me so long to visit such place, it's because I grew up in a rural area where the majority of our views were of corn and rice fields, and the closest city with a park like this is three hours away from our home. On rare occasions in our town, like during a town feast, there are carnival rides and games, but an amusement park is way better. That experience was a decade ago, when I made the most of my ride-all-you-can ticket and rode all of the extreme rides in the park. After ten years, I'm back with my two children, one of whom is a toddler. Will my expectations of adventure change? Before the pandemic, it was scheduled for the first week of December, and the venue was out of town. The company pays all expenses, including food, accommodations, transportation, and drinks. Speaking of drinks, different types of beverages/liquors. The food committee would provide a stub as they often say drinks/beers, etc., were limited. Still, it never followed as Boss allowed us to have as much as we wanted. Drink until we drop, lol. Ahhh, those remind me of happy days; cheers! Yet, since many things happened, we are thankful that this year we were given a budget but only for dine out. No more, no less. So the HR group decided to book a reservation in the nearest eat all you can restaurant chain ( pay for the standard fee, and in given time you can eat anything you want from the food displayed).

Curator: @coquicoin ----- Author: @freidimar18 Community: Family & Friends
https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://images.hive.blog/DQmZyNEWyY1cjPgAypMfx8LbatFAYp4uCMBUje8iX6unEDG/Sin%20t%C3%ADtulo.png

Reencuentro de primas después de cinco años - ¡Momentos llenos de felicidad! In this opportunity I come to share with you the reunion I had with my cousin sisters a couple of days ago, after five years. I remember perfectly, the first time that both cousins decided to travel far from home, in search of a better economic stability and for their part, a better quality of life in another country, for the whole family it was something sad, since we knew that it would be for a long time that they would be away from home. Like many Venezuelans, we have had to experience the separation of loved ones, and it definitely hurts. So yes, after all that time away, we enjoyed to the fullest the arrival of my cousins with their children, which, unique son the reunion, as they both arrived with their blessings.

Curator: @coquicoin ----- Author: @vindiesel1980 Community: Outdoors and more
https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://images.ecency.com/DQmNYSfJqngzRiyd7QqngaMuFqnFC5QiACc7p347kw7jg9s/hive_pouring_santarem.jpg

Extreme showers and car trouble with Vin Diesel...it's pouring down, floating in a flood of poor SERVICE

Starting in the Mid-East of Portugal, going down to Lisbon, up above Porto and then Santarem. Quit e a distance. Approximately 1000km. Insane to look for a second hand car right? All of them had more issues that the sellers told us. On the way to the south the weather was already pretty bad. What followed was extreme, something I haven't experienced before. People on the toll road were driving just 20km/ph and using warning lights. The amount of water coming down was endless and huge. Hardly any visibility and trying to keep your car on the road without hitting other drivers. It seemed to last forever. At some point I noticed a lack of power on the highway. Arriving in Santarem was fun, this is definitely not the lowest part of the area. Although there were flooded tunnels and roads. Mostly because of blocked sewers. Locals standing knee-deep in the water, trying to fix the wells. Supermarkets that were full of water, cars driving through 50cm heigh water. It was a wet mess...Today the swimming pool was free and you needed more diplomas to take part in local traffic.

Curator: @erikah ----- Author: @purpleglitter Community: The MINIMALIST
https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/purpleglitter/EnmFbQYPWirCKVXUK5QX23EgCjzE1uX8g5av9JEqDpRAr3Ztthrjk5yARupja7J9gsQ.jpg

My soul feels lighter 🍃

When things are tidy, and clean, the atmosphere is more calm and peaceful. This is one of my favorite aspects of minimalism. I have become more conscious of cleanliness and order in my environment.
